Marly sat on the outside steps to her temporary home. She watched as a woman and her young child walked past her. She smiled and looked around. She saw a strange man dressed in black across the street. She slowly put her hand on her dagger. She kept her eyes on the man as she got up. She went inside her house and locked the door. She hurried upstairs an dgrabbed her emergency bag. She could hear someone break a window downstairs. She cursed under her breath and opened the window. She held onto her bag and jumped down. She rolled onto her feet and began running.

[i]Marly ran into an alleyway. She glanced behind her shoulder and smirked. She stopped, almost running into the brick wall in front of her. She cursed and looked for another way out. [/i]

Marly cursed and turned. She glared at the Hunter. "Leave me alone." she growled, dagger in hand.

Marly glared in his direction. She normally would've wounded the Hunter by now. She took this as a chance to escape and slid her dagger back into it's sheath. She shouldered her bag and ran out of the alleyway. She flipped her hood up and hurried into the city. She cursed herself for listening to the Hunter. She slowed to a walk as she turned around a corner.

Marly glanced around the now empty street, hearing something in a nearby alleyway. She cautiously made her way across the street. She drew her dagger and slowly walked in. She stayed near the wall, in case she needed to hide.

Marly peered out from the corner. She could easily read the girl's mind, but found it quite difficult to read the boy's. "So the girl is a Hunter. That would make the boy a Special." she thought. She watched the two, not wanting to interfere.
